Common use
Cobix capsule is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain and inflammation. It's
effective for conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and menstrual cramps. In
addition to its primary use, this medicine also helps to relieve symptoms related to osteoarthritis, rheumatoid
arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and menstrual cramps. It is particularly beneficial in managing acute pain in
adults and treating primary dysmenorrhoea.
Dosage and direction
Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing or chewing it. Remember, if you miss a dose,
take
it as soon as you remember. But never take two doses together to make up for a missed one. Always consult your
doctor
for more specific advice on how to use this medicine.
Precautions
Cobix should only be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding if clearly needed and if the benefits
outweigh
the risks. Always consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or

Patients with heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, or a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding should
use
Cobix with caution.
Contraindications
Cobix should not be taken by patients with a known allergy to celecoxib or to any other component of this
medicine. Patients with a history of asthma, urticaria, or other allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or
other
NSAIDs should not take Cobix. This medicine is also contraindicated in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass
graft (CABG) surgery.
Possible side effect
Cobix capsule may have the following common side effects: Dyspepsia (indigestion, which might cause bloating or
discomfort in your tummy); Diarrhea; Abdominal pain; Flatulence; Peripheral edema (this refers to swelling in your
hands and feet caused by fluid build-up); Rash.
Drug interaction
Cobix may interact with anticoagulants (such as warfarin), ACE inhibitors (like lisinopril or enalapril),
angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) (such as losartan or valsartan), diuretics (like furosemide or
hydrochlorothiazide) and cancer treatment medicines (like methotrexate).
Missed dose
If you forget to take Cobix capsule at the scheduled time, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's
nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with your regular schedule. Remember, never alter
your dosage without consulting your doctor.
Overdose
If you accidentally take more than the recommended dose of Cobix capsule, you might feel drowsy or nauseous. In
such a case, rinse your mouth with water and rest. If these symptoms persist or worsen, please inform your doctor.
Storage
Store Cobix capsule at room temperature. Keep it away from excessive moisture; a dry place is best. Always keep
this medicine out of the reach of children.
