Common use

Baclosign is used to treat muscular symptoms including rigidity, tension, and stiffness that can occur as a result of a variety of illnesses such cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, motor neuron disease, or head, brain, or spine damage.

Dosage and direction

Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and duration of this medicine. Take it all in at once. It should not be chewed, crushed, or broken. Baclosign tablet should be consumed with food.

Precautions

Baclosign causes significant drowsiness, so any activity that require increased focus and alertness like driving or operating machinery should be avoided while taking this medication.
Caution is advised for use of Baclosign in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Baclosign should also be cautiously used by patients with kidney disease, epilepsy, stroke, rheumatic disease, cerebral palsy (neurological disorder), Parkinson's disease, and a psychiatric condition such as schizophrenia or a confusional state.

Contraindications

Do not take Baclosign if you are allergic to baclofen or any other ingredient in the medicine. Please consult your doctor if you have any concerns regarding allergies.
Seizure disorders: Baclosign may lower the seizure threshold and increase the risk of seizures.

Missed dose

If you miss a dose of Baclosign, take it as soon as you remember. But, if the next dose is near, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosing regime.

Overdose

Taking too much Baclosign can lead to serious side effects such as extreme drowsiness, confusion, weakness, and even seizures. If you or someone else accidentally takes too much of this medicine, seek immediate medical attention.

Storage

Store Baclosign in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the medicine out of reach and sight of children. Make sure to use the product before the expiration date mentioned on the packaging.
