Arcalion to syntetyczny związek chemiczny podobny do witaminy B1 (tiamina). W przeciwieństwie do witaminy B1, która rozpuszcza się w wodzie, sulbutiamina rozpuszcza się w tłuszczach. Arcalion (sulbutiamina) jest w stanie zwiększyć poziom tiaminy w mózgu. Uważa się, że ma łagodne działanie pobudzające. Arcalion jest stosowany w przypadku osłabienia, zmęczenia, w celu poprawy wyników sportowych, a także w przypadku choroby Alzheimera, udaru i demencji w chorobie Parkinsona.

energy
or weakness. This medicine is a member of the class of medicines that are synthetic derivatives of vitamin B1, or
thiamine. This medicine can also be used to manage fatigue and as an adjunct therapy for Alzheimer's disease.
Dosage and direction
Always take the tablet whole. Do not crush or chew it. Use a full glass of water to swallow the tablet. The
medicine should be taken split between breakfast and lunch. Usually, it's not advised to take Arcalion tablet for
more
than 4 weeks.
Precautions
Before you begin taking this medicine, it's important to consult your doctor about the right dosage and
frequency. You should also inform your doctor about any pre-existing conditions or ongoing medications you are
taking.
Contraindications
Arcalion tablet should not be taken if you have known hypersensitivity to sulbutiamine or any other excipients
in
the medicine.
Metabolic Disorders: If you have conditions like galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or
glucose-galactose malabsorption, you should avoid taking Arcalion. It might exacerbate these conditions.

Possible side effect
Arcalion tablet may cause the following side effects: Nausea; Vomiting; Stomach pain; Diarrhea; Anxiety;
Tremor;
Insomnia; Skin rash; Asthenia.
Drug interaction
Diuretics: Medicines like furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide can interact with Arcalion. This interaction might
increase the loss of thiamine through urine, which could reduce the effectiveness of Arcalion.
Neuromuscular Blocking Agents: Medications such as rocuronium and vecuronium might interact with Arcalion. This
is because sulbutiamine, the active ingredient in Arcalion, can enhance their effects.
Missed dose
If you've missed a dose of Arcalion, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's nearly time for your
next
dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Never increase your dosage without consulting
your
doctor.
Overdose
In case of an overdose of Arcalion, you may experience symptoms like heightened anxiety, irritability, or
tremors. If such symptoms persist or worsen, it's crucial to inform your doctor.
Storage
Store Arcalion tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C. Keep the product in a dry place, away from
direct
sunlight and moisture. It's important to keep this medication out of reach of children.
